Brenda Aluda

Brenda is a Senior Technical Advisor for KCDMS, a Feed-The-Future, USAID funded project. She has 13 years’ experience in agriculture with a strong background in agribusiness and value chain analysis. Brenda’s work at KCDMS mainly focuses on working with the key sector partners to unlocking productivity constraints along the dairy value chain. She has played a pivotal role in strengthening extension systems and working to develop a commercially driven inputs systems capable of supplying diverse, high quality technologies to farmers. In addition, she engages a lot in small scale dairy business and producer organizations to strengthen their capacities to improve production hence increasing their incomes and ensuring food security. She has a strong record of hands on experience in dairy, horticultural, food and cash crops having worked with the government, private sector and international organizations with programs geared towards food security. With her deep understanding of diverse and cultural business practices, she has worked with farmer-based organizations, producer organizations and small and medium enterprises to build viable agribusiness systems around them.

AGTS 2019

The 8th AGTS will  look to find solutions for the missing pieces of the grain trade puzzle and attempt to come up with an action plan to deliver more and better grain trade on the continent.
